Cia. of Eibar. These guns carry the code AZ. This gun is over
stamped with Beistegui Hermanos. The Beistegui brothers purchased
guns from other companies as well as making their own and the reason for
this marking is unknown. The number manufactured for France was 15,000.
The guns were produced under license from Gabilondo y Urresti and continued
after the war under the name Cebra until about 1925 for the French and
Belgian markets. They at the same time manufactured a revolver under
the same name.
