Large winter trigger guard on Czech made guns supplied
Markings on K98K
produced by Czech ZB plant during the war
and then sold to
Israel in 1948. Sometime during the 50's they
were converted
to .308. The six point star is the Star of David
This rifle has
the winter trigger guard.
Markings on the
Receiver of a Gew 98 converted to a K98K by who
I do not know but
it is now in .308 and has the Israeli Star of David
The eagle is the
German Imperial proof. This rifle has the standard
trigger guard.
Serial number has been removed in pic.
Gew 98 was produced
by the Danzig Arsenal
with royal crown
in 1917.
